Small Cap Institutional
CWC’s investment philosophy and process takes advantage of mis-pricing in Small Cap Stocks. The Fund defines small cap companies as those with a market capitalization at the time of purchase within the capitalization range of $100,000,000 to $5,000,000,000.
Large Cap Investment
Utilizing the CWC investment philosophy and process to build separately managed accounts, the CWC Large Cap portfolio seeks to provide capital appreciation by investing in companies with a market capitalization at the time of purchase greater than $5,000,000,000
Fixed Income Investment
The CWC Fixed Income portfolio provides conservative exposure to the bond market utilizing individual bond holdings, or for smaller portfolios, low cost mutual funds; including Short and Intermediate term US Treasuries, Corporate Bonds and High Yield.
The CWC Balanced portfolio utilizes a blend of CWC Large Cap, CWC Small Cap, International and Fixed Income in order to customize portfolios tailored to investor's individual investment goals and risk tolerance characteristics.
The CWC International Portfolio utilizes ETF's in order to achieve global diversification. We invest primarily in ETF's providing exposure to emerging markets, The Pacific and Europe. The ETF's primarily focus is on companies with a market capitalization greater than $5,000,000,000.
Thane Cleland coordinates all investment decisions for the firm. Prior to founding CWC in 2000, Mr. Cleland was the Director of Marketing and Client Service for The Crabbe Huson Group. His professional experience spans more than 28 years in the investment industry. Mr. Cleland has a broad range of experience including successful generation and management of institutional and advisor accounts, portfolio management, corporate management and operations. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Washington.
Gary Woolworth is responsible for all client relationships and operations. Mr. Woolworth began his career at Marsh & McLennan Companies. He joined Smith Barney where he worked as a financial consultant and later helped form Auxier Asset Management. Mr. Woolworth graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Marketing. His professional focus spans 20 years with an emphasis on the delivery of quality customer service to high net worth individuals and institutions.
Cherrie Prinz is responsible for stock selection and portfolio management. Prior to joining CWC she was a technology research analyst at D.A. Davidson & Co. Ms. Prinz has more than 20 years experience in the high tech industry in numerous engineering and management positions at Intel Corp. and Synopsys Inc. Ms Prinz graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, and earned her MBA at Harvard University. Ms. Prinz was ranked by Forbes.com as the nation's #2 stock picker in the Semiconductor and Semiconductor Equipment sectors for 2004. She has 14 years investment experience.
Diane Landgraf brings to the Fund team an extensive knowledge of institutional trading, operations, and client services. From 1991 to1999 she was head of securities trading at Crabbe Huson Company where she oversaw the buying and selling of assets for the large and small cap portfolios valued at more than $5 billion. Diane has 17 years of experience in the investment management industry. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications.
Eric Hamilton, CFA
Eric Hamilton is responsible for stock selection and portfolio management. Prior to joining CWC, Mr. Hamilton was a contrarian/relative value research analyst with Columbia Management Group covering all business sectors of the economy with an emphasis on Technology and Biotechnology. Prior to that Mr. Hamilton was a research analyst and trader with the Crabbe Huson Group in Portland, Oregon. Mr. Hamilton graduated from Portland State University in 1994 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Finance Law. He received the CFA designation in 2007 and is currently a member of the CFA Society of Portland. Mr. Hamilton has 19 years investment experience.
